Detours? Why not? That's how we found each other.

My wife and I met for the very first time at an airport. This should have been a clear sign that our amazing life together will include plenty of trips and adventures. I was leaving for a short trip and she had asked me for a work related meeting, so she agreed to meet me there.  We moved in together a few months later (she had already travel-tested me by then) and married shorty after on my birthday.  She is a die hard world traveler that has been around the globe several times, and is at her happiest when planning a new trip. I am so glad I can share this passion with her. Since then, we have been to New Orleans, all around Iceland, Buenos Aires, Patagonia, Iguazú, Lisbon, Mérida, Toledo, Córdoba, Sevilla, Algarve region, Evora, and Sintra in Portugal. We have also traveled to many magical spots in the Caribbean, since we live here, and next month we take off to Italy, Coatia and France. The adventure we have together is ever developing, is always magical, and it's always on the route of The Small Detour around the next corner.
