From Santorini with love.

Greece- Katikies Hotel in Santorini is too gorgeous for words. A breathtaking hotel in a more breathtaking island. I have been to Greece four times and have seen it change through the years, but stay always intact in its beauty and traditions.  I have still many islands and regions to discover. Santorini is one of the Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea. It was devastated by a volcanic eruption in the 16th century BC, thus its rugged landscape.  I has two whitewashed towns, Fira and Oia, clinging to cliffs above an underwater caldera (crater).  Oia is one of the most spectacular sunsets  spots you will ever enjoy. People gather here every day to watch this show in the skies.  Its beaches  are made up of black, red or white lava pebbles, very different one from the next. On this day I went #tzatziki hopping, tasting it in about half a dozen places. Don't miss the local tzatziki and the local winery.

Happy Small Detour!
